Verizon and Samsung today announced the Galaxy Tab 7.7 with 4G LTE. It sports a 1.4GHz dual-core processor, 7.7″ Super AMOLED Plus display, is extremely thin (thinnest LTE tablet), has a 3MP rear camera, 2MP in the front, 16GB of on-board storage, an SD card slot for extra storage, and weighs roughly 340 grams. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 has Android 3.2 with TouchWiz and will be available in the coming weeks.

Today, a new entry-level Android device from Samsung has been announced, the 3.65-inch Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus. The Galaxy Ace Plus as Android 2.3 Gingerbread on-board and the latest TouchWiz 4.0 interface on a 3.65-inch HVGA display.

The phone’s sports a 1GHz CPU and comes equipped with a 5MP rear-facing camera (no front-facing camera), along with 512MB RAM and 3GB internal storage (including 1GB for apps, and expandable using a microSD card). Samsung expects to release the Galaxy Ace Plus in Russia this month, followed by a gradual roll-out in Europe, Latin America, Asia, the Middle East and Africa later in the year.

Samsung this afternoon officially announced the U.S. versions of the Galaxy Tab 8.9 Honeycomb tablet, and the Galaxy Player 4.0 and 5.0.

The Galaxy Tab 8.9 is an 8.9-inch Android 3.1 Honeycomb tablet with TouchWiz. It will be available nationwide October 2nd for $569 for the 32 GB version, and $469 for the 16 GB version.

The Galaxy Player 4.0 and 5.0 are 4- and 5-inch Android 2.3.5 devices, sort of like a smartphone but without the phone. The Galaxy Player 5.0 sports a massive 2500 mAh battery, while the 4.0 has a smaller 1200 mAh battery.

T-Mobile has finally announced the release date of it’s Samsung Galaxy S II. It will be available in stores October 12th for $229.99, after a $50 rebate and with a new two-year contract. You can pre-order online starting October 10th.

The Galaxy S II sports a 4.52-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor running Android 2.3.4. The phone has NFC capabilities and can show Netflix, T-Mobile TV and Samsung Media Hub. It’s also got DLNA and HDMI-out, and runs on T-Mobile’s HSPA+ 42Mbps 4G network.
