An update for the Sprint HTC Hero has arrived. Unfortunately, it's not the Android 2.0 software update but a "maintenance release". You can manually check for the firmware update by going into Settings>About Phone>System Updates>Firmware Update. The firmware comes in at 3.7mb and fixes SMS and DST issues.
