Amazon’s has updated their Amazon MP3 app for Android to version 2.4. The new update brings a tablet optimized layout, a new color scheme, personalized recommendations from the Amazon MP3 store (if you’re in the U.S. that is), more prominent button layout and a lock-screen player if you’re on an Android 4.0 device. Pretty good stuff.
In case you are not familiar with the Amazon MP3 app, you can shop for music and play music stored on your device. If you’re in the US, you can play or download music stored in Amazon Cloud Drive which is included as part of the application.
Features Include:
- Shop over 18 million songs and over a million albums in the Amazon MP3 store.
- Save to Cloud Drive or your device
- Play music stored on your device and music you’ve saved to Cloud Drive
