After many betas and release candidates, Firefox 4 Mobile for Android is now official and ready for download.

The mobile version has the same rendering engine as the desktop version of Firefox with full HTML5 support. There’s also a boat load of add-ons to keep you a happy camper! You can also use the sync function for bookmarks, passwords, logins and even tabs.

Firefox is up to three times faster than the stock browser on Android. Major enhancements to the JavaScript engine make everything from page load speed to graphics to overall performance snappy in Firefox.
