It was reported a few months back that Android Market had grown to 70,000 applications. Well, now Android Market has hit six digits as Google has officially tweeted that there are 100,000 apps via their Android Developer Twitter account.

In my eyes the argument that iOS is superior to Android based on Apps alone is unjustified. Apple’s App Store has about 300,000 apps with a lot of crappy ones so on a quality app to app comparison they are close. Also, with the open nature of Android I think you will see a shift in Android’s favor. [Twitter]
