If you haven’t gotten your leaked Froyo for the Droid X, you may just me out of luck (find some mirrors, hint..hint) until it is officially released. Motorola’s Director of Information Security has sent cease-and-desist letters one of which went to MyDroidWorld because they are one of the sites currently hosting the Android 2.2 files in question for users to download and install on their devices.

Not sure of Motorola’s motivation behind this, maybe they are worried about bricked Droid X’s, huh……..come on Motorola don’t you want some beta testers! [My Droid World]
