The members of the Android development community in the quest to root every phone possible have done it again. The fine folks at XDA Developers have gained super user on the Motorola Droid 2 much in the same way as the Droid X.

If you remember correctly, obtaining root on the Droid X was no easy process and neither was the Droid 2. Based on past history with other devices, you should be seeing one-click rooting for the Droid 2 in no time at all.
