Many of you are waiting patiently for Android 2.2 on your Sprint HTC EVO 4G. Well, Froyo’s code has been out in the wild for a couple of weeks and some folks over at XDA Developers (Avalaunchmods) have a Froyo build you can try on your HTC EVO.

While it’s not perfect, they have working WIFI, multitouch, Bluetooth, calls and so on. The camera is not working yet but it may be worth a try and I’m sure they will get the camera functioning in no time. [XDA Developers]
