Google is offering users a simple-to-use DIY app maker. You need little or no programming knowledge as App Inventor Beta uses a sort of WYSIWYG approach. It relies on visual blocks rather than arcane code and can handle just about anything you could do with an Android phone. This includes access to GPS and phone functionality.
