It’s time again for an update as to who’s running which version of Android. Fifty percent of Android devices are now running Android 2.1 If you tak into count all of Eclair, versions 2.0, 2.0.1 and 2.1, it’s actually just over half coming in at 50.4 percent.

Unfortunately, Cupcake and Donut, versions 1.5 and 1.6, respectively simply refuse to go away, making up the remaining half. Android 1.6 is down to 25 percent and Android 1.5 is at 24.6 percent. [Android Developer Blog]
