The Google Voice app for Android has been updated. It’s not as big an update as the previous one which saw message syncing and nearly instant notification of SMS. The latest build refines those features and they have added the ability to turn on and off SMS forwarding from the application and some bug fixes. One great new feature which should be highlighted is the notification pull down, which says who the SMS is from, instead of “1 Google Voice Message” like it used to.
This is a nice solid release, nothing earth shattering but a good one none the less.
