
It looks like the Dell Aero is ready for a second quarter launch. With FCC approval behind them the Mini 3iG is ready to be Dell’s first Android handset to be sold in the US.
The Dell Aero will ship with Android 1.5 with the promise of an eventual update to Android 2.1. A 624MHz Marvell processor will be onboard and a 3.5-inch capacitive multitouch screen with a stylus for handwriting recognition, 802.11b/g WiFi, Bluetooth, UMTS 1900 / 850 support, QuickOffice, ActiveSync, on-device photo editing, and social networks.
