I know we’re sill awaiting the Android 2.2 (Froyo) upcoming release, but Google made a vague notation for the release of Android Gingerbread.

In the FAQ for Google’s new WebM format, they mention that Android support will come in the Gingerbread version of Android, which is “currently planned for Q4, 2010.”It’s not an exact date but at least we have a targeted range to look out to! Now can I have my Froyo please! [EuroDroid]
