The Weather Channel has updated their Android app which includes pretty significant changes to the user interface, including updated graphics and new custom tabs for different locations. There are also new widgets which you can see in the screen shot below – small, large and wide. You can have more than one widget at a time showing different locations.

There are also a plethora of additional improvements which include “Did you know?” weather facts and TruPoint Nowcasts for up to the minute weather information. Oh, and they didn’t stop there, you will also notice better location accuracy, improved battery life and faster load times.

For FREE and accurate weather data, this one is a no brainer.
