We all know and love our Android OS but are well aware of the issue of applications only being stored on the internal phone storage and not the microSD expansion cards. Not only can this limit the number of apps stored on a device but in may actually stop an individual app with a lot of data from even running. Google announced at the Nexus One Event that this will be fixed in the future by enabling encryption on the card. No one knows when this will occur or even if it will come to existing Android devices but hopefully it will come soon.
