Rumors have been flying around the net that Verizon is planning to charge an extra $15 per month for your Droid to be connected to Microsoft’s Exchange email environment. It has been confirmed that these rumors are false, at least for consumer lines. Gearlog received clarification from Verizon’s headquarters about the rumored $45 per month data charge, and it looks as though it’s for corporate users only. Individual accounts and family lines, whether you use Exchange or not, will still cost $30 per month.
