The Samsung Behold II is set to be released by T-Mobile on November 18th. Engadget did an unboxing complete with photos and a video. It has been reported that it will run $229.99 with a two year deal but we have also been hearing it could actually be more like $299.99 with a two year contract.
Engadget commented that the device is thin yet heavy and the screen is nice but noting they are obviously not as enthusiastic about it as compared to the Droid’s screen.
Hardware-wise there’s really nothing to complain about on this phone. It’s heavy, relatively thin (not iPhone-thin, but just fine), with solid materials and wonderfully tactile face buttons. The screen is everything you’d expect out of an AMOLED display, though high-resolution phones like the Droid dampen that enthusiasm somewhat.
